  Thallus foliose, ±loosely adnate, 1–4 cm wide, 40–10 µm thick, leaden grey. Lobes rotund to oblong, undulate; apices ±recurved, 0.5–2 mm wide in specimens seen; margins entire, ±lobulate, ±isidiate, ±recurved. Upper surface finely wrinkled, isidiate, ±bullate; wrinkles fine, closely anastomosing; isidia subcylindrical to squamuliform, simple to branched. Lower surface not isidiate; naked or with sparse minute rhizines. Apothecia as in L. javanicum, but 1–2 mm wide Ascospores ellipsoidal, ±muriform, 20–28 × 10–15 µm. Pycnidia not seen.
     
  Known in Australia from two specimens only and previously known only from the type location in the Philippines. Grows on moss, rock and bark.
